We are currently hiring for the following position:

Bookkeeper/Office Manager

$12-16/hour

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm

Location: IN PERSON 1057 Doniphan Park Circle, Suite H, El Paso, Texas 79922

THE POSITION OVERVIEW

The Bookkeeper/Office Manager’s main function is to provide high-level support to the business.  The goal of this position is to own and lead bookkeeping and administrative tasks, enabling the CEO to focus on actions related to business development.

In short, your role is to continually find ways to save time by communicating with team members, vendors, and clients and attacking the growing to-do list of a rapidly expanding business.

This position reports directly to the CEO, while also working closely with members of the team.

We are seeking a calm yet agile, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager

       So El Paso is the “go-to” gift store for El Paso products for clients all over the        globe.  We sell our products in our store and on the internet.  We ship gifts all         over the world and give awesome customer service every single day.

Anne Mitchell CEO, is the owner and founder. She created So El Paso to share the flavor of her hometown with the world.  We do this in our store, online and by shipping gifts all over the globe.  She is currently capitalizing on her women-owned status by reaching out to national corporations. 

Kelly Baldwin is the Store Manager and has been in retail over 20 years.  Her level of professionalism and commitment to customer service earns her 5 Star reviews on a regular basis.

THE ROLE

 Provide attention to detail as you prepare all bookkeeping in QuickBooks:

       Accounts Receivable

       Accounts Payable

       Texas Sales Tax

       Payroll Submission

       Reconcile Credit Cards

       Purchase Orders

       Formulate Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Financial Reports

Organize logistics of a smooth running office such as special projects or events, meetings, proposals, coordinate facilities management, supply orders.

Provide assistance in Human Resources by onboarding new employees.

Complete various administrative duties as required, such a processing invoices, general inquiries, company mailings, shipments and deliveries.

IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING TOOLS, IT’S A PLUS!

Macintosh Computers, Microsoft 365, Monday, Shopify, ShipStation, DropBox, LastPass, Zoom, Canva.
