Magnet - Come & Take it Wood

This magnet commemorates one of the incidents that sparked the Texas revolution. On October 2, 1835 Mexican troops marched on Gonzales with orders to seize a small cannon that had been given to the citizens as a defense against Comanche raids. Angered by the government crackdown, Texans responded with armed force and this defiant flag which has come to symbolize the "never surrender" spirit of many Texans.
